Down to Earth Regen creates vibrant spaces where people connect, culture blooms, and nature takes the spotlight. We’ve supported Down to Earth to transform a “dead car park” into Electric Daisy, a vibrant, community-focused oasis that celebrates food, growing and Derby’s culture.
Down to Earth’s mission is to create a sustainable city which re-energises the city-centre (and beyond). Down to Earth and WFET share the ambition to show that nature and community can be at the heart of a commercial success venture.
Events include everything from GrowBro’s (a monthly men’s gardening social) to kids play or live music.

The UK is one of the least nature-connected nations in the world but there is a growing movement to change this. The University of Derby's Nature Connectedness Research Group has pioneered the science of human-nature relationships since 2013 and with WFET's support launched the Nature Connectedness Network to help practitioners everywhere put that insight to work.
